Telegram signals: the messages Copygram understands

How Copygram reads Telegram signal messages: entries, stop loss and take profit, closes, breakeven and partial closes, and when a reply is needed.

How Telegram signal copying works

Copygram uses AI trained on trading signal patterns to turn any Telegram message into a trade it can execute. No bot and no special format: the AI reads the message the way a trader would.

What Copygram detects

Open trade

Buy, Sell, Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop, with entry price, SL, one or several TPs, and lot size.

Close trade

Full close of an open position. Send it as a reply to the original signal, or as "Close [SYMBOL]" to close every trade on that pair.

Move SL to breakeven

Moves the stop loss to the entry price. Must be a reply to the original signal.

Close half

Closes 50% of the position. Must be a reply to the original signal.

Modify take profit

Updates one or more TP levels of an open trade. Must be a reply to the original signal.

Modify stop loss

Updates the stop loss of an open trade. Must be a reply to the original signal.

Reply or standalone message

To know which trade to close or change, Copygram needs the message to be a reply to the original signal in Telegram. A standalone message with the symbol, like "Close EURUSD", closes every open trade on that pair.

Not executed: no reply and no symbol

Common mistake

A standalone "Close" or "Close trade", with no reply to the original signal and no symbol. Copygram cannot tell which trade to close. Always use Telegram's Reply to close one specific trade.

"Close [SYMBOL]" without a reply

Sent as a standalone message (not a reply), "Close EURUSD" closes every open trade on that symbol. Useful when the provider wants to exit all positions on a pair at once.

Related receiver settings

In each receiver's settings, under Telegram messages and Partial closes:

Skip messages containing
Filters out messages that are not signals by the words they contain (e.g. "analysis", "update", "good morning"), so casual messages never open trades.
Entry price: market price or the signal's price
Market price opens the trade at once, at the current price, when a Buy or Sell signal arrives. The signal's price places a pending order at the exact entry written in the message.
Partial closes
How much of the position closes at each TP level. Example: 50% at TP1, 30% at TP2, 20% at TP3.
